I find it incredibly hard to believe that I will be teaching for the 6th year at North Central in a few weeks. I've come a long way since 2012, and so has my high school classroom. Check out my first post here! (I guarantee you won't recognize the room!) After years of cleaning, organizing, de-cluttering, getting new tables, painting, and a fabulous new floor - I'm very thankful for the classroom I have now.
This is what my room looked like when I walked in on Tuesday.
Furniture needed to be rearranged, the supply order had to be sorted, and my desk - well yeah that was a mess to say the least.
The first day was spent putting things away, cleaning and figuring out table set-up.
(One of the additional projects I want to complete prior to the start of school is painting and organizing my file cabinets. The progress can be seen below. (click on the images to enlarge)
I also have been updating where things are located, sorting supplies into matching drawers/shelves, going through every single file, and trying to be as prepped for the year as possible. Here are some more "in progress" pictures. Click to enlarge.
