Cleaning up the high school art room this year has really made me appreciate how far it has come since I started in the fall of 2012. These first pictures are what the room look liked the first time I walked in it.
The pictures in the slideshow to follow are what it look liked at the beginning of this school year
(2014-2015)while I was painting and making last minute changes. WOW.
Here is a glimpse at what it looked like in the middle of this school year!
Sometimes you have a class that you look forward to every. single. day.
That was my 3rd hour Mixed Media class this trimester.
Our last day was full of edible art, gnome narrative presentations, selfies, and some silly awards,
which they wore for the remainder of the day like badges. :) :) :)
I hope everyone has a wonderful summer! I will miss you!
Thank you for being such a joy to teach!
(I promise they all have an inside joke within our class, even if they may seem odd)
Kasey - "Left Handed Paint, Right?!"
Dylan - "I"m on Could 9. You won't know what that is."
Jaycee - "Kitty Litter Queen"
Taylor H - "Melman's Momma"
Bryce - "The Flash"
Emily - "What!? I don't complain!"
Seryn - "Rookie of the Year"
Marcus - "Make my Day. Almost EVERY DAY."
RayAnn - "I'm done! I'm done!"
Ryan - "Van Gogh Victor"
Taylor R - "I'm bored. What can I do now?"
Alysha - "The Look"
Hannah - "Keeper of the Jersey"

I love seeing Art History pop up on TV! Way to go Lowe's!
Can you name all of the artists that make an appearance in the commercial?
