Management

The Elementary Art Room
has 3 simple rules:

Always do your best
Respect others
Tools should be used properly

Picture
I am a strong believer in organization and routine.
Items that help my room run smoothly are:

  • The first weeks of school are used to learn the routines of the Art Room and understand the expectations.
  • Assigned seats to help with consistency and name recognition.
  • A table of educational options for early finishers.
  • Great organization of my classroom. (A shelf for each classes work, well labeled cabinets, accessible student supplies)
  • A discipline philosophy based on positive-reinforcement, and a negative tone used only when necessary for the safety and well-being of the students.
