Two classes completed the 8th annual Pumpkin Design challenge this year - Visual Arts and Intro to Art. Check out all of the designs below by clicking the image to enlarge.
After the pumpkins were displayed, students/staff/families could vote on their favorite pumpkin for 2019 via a Google Form. The winners are:

High school students all started out the semester with a little review in Color Theory. Intro to Art students (freshmen) created Color Theory Cubes by mixing their own hues - tertiary colors, tints and tones! Completed projects can be viewed below and are currently on display in the front entrance of the high school.

Visual Arts students (more advanced) are working on 12-section Color Theory Mandalas. These mandalas were designed by the students, replicated using carbon paper, and all hues were mixed by hand. The images below are works in progress.
