Community Project Day 2018

Our Chapter of the National Honor Society completed our last large event for the school year today with our annual Community Project Day!
​All students volunteered in and around the communities of Hermansville and Powers in the morning. After volunteering, everyone ate a delicious cook out lunch, we took our school-wide photo, and finished the day with fun activities around the school.
​This is also traditionally the last day of high school for our Seniors! We'll recognize their hardwork next week at Senior Awards Night on Wednesday starting at 6pm.

Hermansville Intersection (flower planting)
IXL Museum
High School Kitchen/Cafeteria (Cook-out Prep!)
Legion Post 244
Lions Club
Methodist Church
Normenco Sportsmen's Club
Pinecrest Medical Care Facility
Spalding Cemetery
Veterans Park
Spalding Township Hall
Various Community Member's Homes

When our Seniors graduate at the end of the month, our Chapter will get a little smaller in size, but I have high hopes for the silly crew seen below! (it was just a little windy today...)
