This week, in our third hour art class we designed a color wheel, shoes, and an oil pastel masterpeice that included the different elements of the color wheel! For the shoe project, the design had to only use one of the color schemes we learned from our color wheel. The oil pastel project was a simple picture divided into six sections, each of which had a different color scheme, such as primary, secondary, complimentary, monochromatic, warm or cool, and analogous. We should have a test on the color wheel at the end of the week (if there isn't a snow day!)
This week in art we made shoe designs. We had to do the design and color it with either primary, secondary, complementary, or analogous colors. We also had to make oil pastel pictures using primary, sencondary, complementary, monochromatic, warm or cool, and analogous colors. We had to break the picture into six sections. These two projects had to deal with the color wheel, and how well we understood it.
