Stained Glass windows are the currents project for 3rd - 6th grade. The examples below are 5th grade. They are required to divide their paper into 5-7 sections, and illustrate each section. Each illustration should be an image that represents their personality, interests, etc. After the drawing are completed in pencil, oil pastel will be used to fill in. The vibrant colors of the windows simulate the beautiful colors used in actual stained glass windows.
The last image is our new team labels for table groups. I used artist names to reinforce the importance of art history.

My children are enjoying art class more than they have in years past...I am impressed with the variety of projects you have available for them and show the fun in expressing themselves artistically :)
